In the spirit of the season: charity.

It’s still a few weeks away, but there’s a silent auction happening at Affiliate Summit West 2011 that will benefit Affiliate Marketers Give Back, an organization put together by Missy Ward to support the fight against breast cancer. I have an item in that silent auction, and I would appreciate any support you are willing to lend.

The copy of Jim Kukral’s book, Attention!, that I’ve been having people sign was dropped off by FedEx yesterday, signed by Mark Cuban. Yes, that Mark Cuban – billionaire entrepreneur, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and all-around good guy. It’s my hope that having someone with as high a profile as Mr. Cuban on-board can help drive up the bids.

I’m writing this on Christmas Eve, which, for a significant portion of the populace, is a pretty major evening. Tomorrow is the Main Day, right? Tomorrow, and this time of year generally, we’re all supposed to think of others. We’re supposed to take a break from fighting, from work, and from stress. We’re supposed to feel charitable and be charitable.

I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season, and I hope that if you’re attending Affiliate Summit, that you’ll participate in the silent auction. Even if you’re not interested in the dog I’ve got in this fight, there are dozens of items up for auction and I know that you can find one that’s a fit for you. You’ll be receiving a great item and helping a great charity.

That’s awesome Daniel! I had no idea who Mark Cuban was so I’m glad you explained! I hope we get lots of bidders on this amazing group of autographs in Jims book. See you in 2 weeks. Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Heather! I'm really excited about this project, and I hope that that comes across when I write or talk about it. I'm hoping for some big donations for all the items at the auction to support this awesome charity.

See you in a couple of weeks!
