In which Daniel and Drew talk about some of our favorite podcasts, Charlie Sheen (of course), not watching the Oscars, and going on man-dates. Seriously.
We started the show with a throwback to last week’s episode, breaking down the meaning of the title and discussing the future (there might be one) of Bill & Ted. From there, we got into a bit about some of our favorite podcasts:
and we’d be remiss in our duties if we didn’t mention Charlie Sheen in this episode. As we’re posting this, Sheen is going crazy. Personally, I think there’s a good chance it’s all an act. We’ll see. We’d like to see Sheen show up on The Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick. That would be epic.
Speaking of Charlie Sheen, we spent a bit of time talking about movies and about how we didn’t watch the Oscars. I gave my Incomplete List of Oscars More Interesting than the Awards Show.
Next up, Drew got pitched recently – I don’t want to spoil it here. Let’s just say it involves Red Robin (awesome), a man-date, and some $20 gift cards that he’ll be giving away in the near future. Of course, any mention of Red Robin (awesome) has to give us pause, because as great as they are… we’re supposed to be on diets and getting into better shape.
Drew is gearing up – pun totally intended – for Gadget Month. Throughout the month, he’ll be putting to use all the various gadgets that he’s collected over the years for his photography. Keep an eye on BenSpark.com for the coolness. Drew also touched on some internet problems that he had recently and how T-Mobile came to the rescue with a mobile hotspot.
Lastly, we touched a bit on the impending iPad 2 event and a few of the rumors surrounding that device. Neither of us is so jazzed about it right now that we’ll get rid of our current iPads, but you never know, Apple has been known to come up with some doozies.
My wife and I are putting an offer in on a house tomorrow, cross your fingers for us!
All this and more – thanks for listening! We’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave us a voice mail at 281-241-QAQN. Also, you can email us at email@example.com.
