Geek Dads Weekly #89 – She’ll Change Your Perspective in 3 Minutes -or- The Affiliate Summit East 2011 Recap

Play

In which Daniel and Drew attempt to recover from Affiliate Summit East 2011, make sense of it all, and tell you all about it.

This show was recorded live on Mixlr. To participate in the next recording, keep an eye on the show schedule at QAQN Live! and the QAQN Twitter stream.

Drew and I were all about Affiliate Summit East 2011 this time, with a rundown of the event. If you’re interested in the quality of the sessions, the food or the incredible networking opportunities, we’ll cover all that. We also had a lengthy discussion about Kim Ann Curtin behind her back. Shh. Don’t tell her.

We had a great time with this episode, and had some excellent interaction with the live chat room. We’re really loving the live format, and we hope you are, too!

All this and more – thanks for listening! We’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave us a voice mail at 281-241-QAQN(7276). Also, you can email us at feedback@qaqn.com.

Excellent and fun recap of Summit! Kim Ann Curtain for Keynote Speaker definitely! Re: #randoms food – 86 the bacon, eat your fruits and veggies Daniel Perhaps your listeners would like to hear about vegan dinner. Hee hee :)

I'll 86 the bacon, all right… 86 it right into my belly. Mmmmm…. bacon.

The vegan dinner? The one followed by a night at the Brazilian steakhouse with 22 different styles of meat and nary a vegetable in sight? :D

The Vegan Smackdown evening was very good, I won't say that it wasn't. Wade and I talked about that on an episode of Inside Internet Marketing that will be posted later on today (I'll update this with a link later on).

Damn, I wish I knew there was a cupcake cart nearby, I'd have been all over that.

And that was one hell of a game. I think everyone was outside for the bottom of the 9th. I'm glad my A's won, because they got destroyed the next day :/
