It’s a prelude episode for yet another new QAQN production! Regular episodes start the week of August 25th, hosted by Trisha Lyn Fawver and co-hosted by Daniel M. Clark. Subscribe in iTunes today!
In a strange, but welcome, twist to how things have been done here at QAQN over the past almost-two years, I’m not hosting the next show to join the roster! I will be co-hosting Affiliate Marketing Fanatics, the long-running show hosted by Trisha Lyn Fawver and Mike Buechele. Mike retired from the show earlier this year, and in talking about the future of the series, Trisha and I started talking about bringing it here to QAQN. Episodes will be recorded on Tuesday evenings and posted Wednesdays. Topics? Anything of interest to folks in the affiliate marketing industry. We’ll have some news, some interviews, some reviews of industry events and lots more.
In this final part of the Affiliate Summit East 2012 diary series, I cover the remainder of the show: Sunday to Tuesday. I know that seems like it’s the entirety of the show, and yes, technically ASE12 ran from August 12th to August 14th, but my trip was six days long. Just roll with it, okay? I’m covering sessions, food, friends and baseball in this update. It’s awesome.
Affiliate Summit East 2012, days two and three – it’s been fantastic. Read on to learn more about my trip, and keep an eye out for more updates as the week progresses! Food, fun, education… great stuff.
The first in my series of reports from Affiliate Summit East 2012. It’s Friday, and American Airlines is not making a good start of this trip.
The art of improvisation can be a powerful weapon in your podcasting arsenal—but it cuts two ways. Used wisely, improv can make a good show great or a great show awesome. Used incorrectly or lazily, it can absolutely ruin what might have otherwise been a good episode. Read on as I give two examples from my own experiences: one where improvisation resulted in a great show and another that resulted in a train wreck.
